Individual Therapy

Psychotherapy is a commitment between the human being sitting on the couch and the professional sitting across from them. Once someone decides to embark upon their journey of self-discovery, personal development, and healing through psychotherapy, a trusting and authentic relationship will be the foundation of growth. Individual psychotherapy at DRWR&A may range between 30-90 minutes. The length of session is determined in partnership between the client and therapist based on need, preference, and schedule. As well, our therapists will make recommendations specific to session frequency and interim session assignments based upon clinical assessment and an individualized treatment plan. 

Dance Movement Therapy

Dance/Movement Therapy (DMT) is a holistic, evidence-based mental health treatment that uses movement and body awareness to support emotional, psychological, and physical well-being. At DRWR&A, DMT is offered as a powerful approach to connect mind and body through guided movement. Clients gain tools to express emotions, build self-esteem, and regulate the nervous system. Through creative expression and somatic awareness, DMT fosters healing in a supportive and nonjudgmental space. This integrative therapy is available for children, teens, and adults seeking a unique path toward emotional balance and inner strength.

Couples Therapy

We understand that relationships can be challenging, and we're here to help. DRWR&A believes that every relationship deserves a chance to thrive. We offer a supportive and non-judgmental space for couples to work towards growing a healthier and more fulfilling partnership. Our experienced therapists work closely with couples to identify the root causes of their problems and develop personalized solutions that work for them. Whether you're struggling with communication, trust, or connection, we're committed to helping you build a stronger, more loving relationship that stands the test of time.

Family Counseling

At DRWR&A we recognize that the healing journey looks different for every individual. Family therapy is an integral part of the equation, for many human beings – young and old. Clinicians will invite family sessions if, and when, that need is assessed, and therapeutic benefit is calculated. Our therapists seamlessly integrate family therapy into the primary modality of individual therapy, when dictated. Family therapy sessions can support improved communication, resolve conflict, and strengthen relationships within the home. Whether addressing issues related to mental health, life transitions, or behavioral concerns, our skilled team works to foster connection and understanding.

At DRWR&A, we believe that peer connection and a sense of common humanity fosters growth and healing. It is our commitment to create a comfortable yet challenging space for all members of group therapy. Group work  is artistically facilitated with creativity, authenticity and integrity. Within the walls of our group space, one might experience a skills group rooted in DBT and CBT strategies focused on living a more quality-driven life, or possibly a more introspective group on Self-Compassion. Our therapists have offered a myriad groups, also including parental and loved-one’s support groups and process-oriented psychotherapy groups. Groups may range from 45 to 90 minutes based on the content and purpose of the group, as well as age-range.
